An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and positive individual to be part of the delivery of an innovative programme to support the delivery of the Excellence in Care programme for NHS Scotland.

We are at a key stage in the development of the Excellence in Care Programme, with a remit that supports health and care professionals to test and implement the development of measures that aim to assure nursing care and support improvement work across NHS Scotland. This work is innovative and complex and focused on developing, testing and spreading a range of measures and approaches to drive safe, effective and person-centred improvements. A key element of this role is engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver this complex programme of work.

The successful candidate will provide expertise in the design and delivery of improvement programmes and knowledge in the application of improvement methodology in a variety of settings. The Associate Improvement Advisor will be educated to Masters level or possess equivalent training in an aspect of implementation and improvement science or have extensive practical experience of supporting implementation and improvement programmes at national level.

Strong communication, interpersonal and team working skills are required along with the ability to work to deadlines and effectively manage change.
