Older Peoples Mental Health

NHS Tayside is seeking to recruit dynamic, passionate and flexible candidates who are fully Registered Medical Practitioners who are holders of MRCPsych or equivalent, and an appropriate CCT (or be eligible for such inclusion within 6 months of the interview date). We are also keen to hear from candidates with relevant experience who would like to pursue specialist registration through the CESR process. NHS Tayside supports Tier 2 sponsorship if required. Speciality Doctor opportunities are also available. We welcome informal enquires and discussion about the interests and preferences of individual applicants.

Appointment as a Consultant will offer the individual an opportunity to shape the services that are to be delivered through a system where the people who receive, and the professionals who deliver, care are treated as equal. Successful candidates will have a sound understanding of the role of the Consultant Psychiatrist and play a key part along within strong multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of person centred, safe and effective care, treatment and services.
