Croydon University Hospital (CUH) is a large urban DGH serving a diverse population of 380,000 in South London. Croydon Health Services is one of the largest employers in the London Borough of Croydon and has integrated with community services. This post offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop the new diabetes community service with another 2 consultant colleagues. The post holder will join a team of four Consultant Endocrinologists in providing outpatient diabetes and endocrinology clinics, and inpatient general (internal) medicine (GIM) care. The post-holder will contribute to a GIM ward round. The appointee will offer clinical leadership for all aspects of the service including service development, quality assurance and training, and contribute to productive interaction with primary care providers.
