Our what3words technology is being used everywhere people need to talk about location; for deliveries, logistics, e-commerce, ride-hailing, in cars and for sports and social activities. Each of these users and use cases generates data we analyse to make our products better and helps us understand our customers.
We are looking for an experienced data engineer to work with our Growth and Engineering teams to help build out data pipelines to enable analytics. We aggregate data from our apps and website as well as from from third party client APIs and other sources. As well as understanding our user growth we’re also keen to track offline to online journeys
Requirements

- Python
- Airflow
- Strong knowledge of data processing pipelines
- Ingestion of external data using standard and custom libraries
- ETL, cleanup, aggregation and making it available for analysis
- ~5 years experience with databases such as BigQuery or PostgreSQL and with SQL queries/query optimisation
Desirable Skills

- Experience with data visualisation tools (primarily Data Studio)
- Knowledge of a range of third party data sources and APIs (eg, GA, Matamo, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Experience of distributed/automated workflows and technologies (Docker, K8S, Spark)
