To process all access and other requests for patient records and patient information in accordance with legislation under the Access to Health Records and Data Protection Acts.
To provide an administrative and clerical service across a range of Department Sections and across all specialties which include: Emergency Admissions; Elective Admissions; Patient/Clinical Management System; A&E System; Document Management System; Clinical Coding; Filing Library; Outpatient Waiting Lists; GP Referrals; Clinic Preparation/Missing; Appointments; Helpdesk; Legal; Admission Reception; Out Patient Receptions; A&E Reception; & Pre Assessment Reception.
