An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment for a 0.6 WTE Band 5 Lead AHP support worker role.
Working as a champion for the AHP support workforce, the post holder will develop and deliver a range of activities to enable learning, development and progression for this staff group across the Trust’s AHP professions. This is a collaborative role between the AHP Leadership team and organisational development which will involve research and networking (internal and external) to deliver key work streams around: competency development, enhancing the scope of practice, education and development opportunities.
The post holder will establish and maintain effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships across local, regional and national networks and must therefore have strong communication and influencing skills and be able to work flexibly, collaboratively and creatively. The successful candidate must have significant NHS experience at a senior AHP support worker level managing other team members and knowledge of specific area, acquired through diploma or equivalent experience or training, plus further management knowledge or experience to degree level equivalent.
This is a key leadership post therefore the ability to inspire and engage multi-professional groups at multiple levels is critical. The post holder will be able to articulate the vision for developing the support worker workforce and the associated local and national drivers.
