We are seeking a natural problem-solver with the desire to find new and innovative ways of working with new technologies and help colleagues and students, particularly within a Library environment.

We require a reliable, self-motivated and team-orientated person, with excellent Office365 skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, to join our Systems and Services teams and help us provide an efficient and welcoming enquiry service to our users in this busy section of the Library.
You will also undertake clerical duties as well as regular shelving and stock handling duties.
Experience of library work, including dealing directly with library users, would be an advantage as would a working knowledge of MS Teams.

You Will Have

  • A good honours degree or equivalent
  • Experience of university libraries or other service-oriented work including dealing directly with users
  • Good interpersonal skills for customer care and team working
  • Working knowledge of MS Office365
  • The ability to cope with the physical demands of the job
