Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation

Band 5

Winter pressures – 37.5 hour

Salary (pro rata) £24,214 – £30,112

If you are a highly motivated Occupational Therapist with an interest in working within a Rehabilitation Hospital you will not want to miss out on this opportunity.

The post would be suitable for an Occupational Therapist who has a passion of working with clients with complex needs to support their independence and function, working within a dynamic, and friendly multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have a range of occupational therapy skills and experience to support care and treatment with their patients. They will have excellent clinical skills, and will be able to work as a team and work autonomously; they will have excellent organisational skills, flexibility and time management skills in order to work within this busy service.

There is close multidisciplinary working within the hospital, which support the rehabilitation and complex discharge pathways.

We are committed to continuing professional development and embedding the trust values, the successful candidate will be well supported by the senior occupational therapist within the team. We are committed to undergraduate education, CPD, clinical governance and flexible working. The service operates seven day service.
