Applications are invited for the post of bank phlebotomist to join the clinical support services directorate. The post holder will provide venepuncture service to outpatient services at Russells Hall, Corbett and Guest sites. The Phlebotomist will work under the direction of the Phlebotomy Seniors and will ensure a clean, comfortable and safe environment for service users.
Applicant must be reliable, flexible, a team player and be able to work effectively under pressure with excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language.
Flexibility is essential as you may be asked to work extra/unsociable hours
The post holder will be expected to use own initiative during clinical sessions and escalate to line manager when necessary.
Be willing to attend any training and development in line with the needs of the organisation.
Hours of work will be Monday to Sunday between 0700-1900
