Project Manager – Specialist Children’s Services – Glasgow

You will lead on identified NHSGGC Specialist Children’s Services (SCS) quality improvement projects and you will have delegate responsibility for the effective operational management of identified SCS workforce within the service including recruitment and retention of staff. You will be responsible for evaluating the governance arrangements, resources and clinical pathways implemented within a range of NHSGGC SCS projects and you will support the Head of Service, Professional Leads and Quality Improvement team by performing clinical audit and evaluation with respect to local and national agendas. You will manage delegated budgets on behalf of the Head of Service and make decisions based on good financial management complying with the boards Standing Financial Instructions. You will analyse a variety of datasets, ensuring the results are accurate, linked to service improvement, fit-for-purpose and presented to a high standard, including the interpretation of results e.g Service User Feedback, DNA rates. You will assist in the implementation of a Board quality framework and NHSGGC policies and procedures and contribute to the governance frameworks. You should have a Degree qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience (clinical / managerial) (essential). You should have Post Qualifying qualifications at Masters level or equivalent knowledge and experience and actively working towards academic qualifications and a clinical background & associated professional qualification (essential) You should have relevant experience in a managerial post in the NHS with experience of managing large and complex operational services. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 9.00am -5.00pm.
