Please note this post is part time. The salary for the position will be pro-rata.
The base will be Law House with travelling to various sites within North and South Lanarkshire
The post is for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours will be as required within the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm
The post holder will work as part of a catering team to deliver a range of food and beverages in line with Food Hygiene legislation and NHS Lanarkshire policies and procedures to meet the nutritional needs of Patients, Staff and users of NHS Lanarkshire services.
Applicants should have knowledge of catering standards and related procedures and a working knowledge of Health & Safety. Effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team, the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively and efficiently in a busy environment and a working knowledge of basic information technology is required.
The post holder will be required to undertake on the job training and induction (this will generally take 4-6 weeks, depending on hours/days worked), to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential.
