An opportunity has arisen to appoint a 0.43WTE Band 6 Specialist Dietitian to join and support our Acute Dietetic team in the Scottish Borders on a fixed term basis until August 2021.

We are looking for someone with clinical experience in acute care in parenteral feeding and/or surgical care and /or gastrointestinal experience.

Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach will be key requirements as you will be working within a team of Acute Dietitians in a busy General hospital. Team working, organisational and time management skills are essential.

The Department provides student dietetic placements of A, B & C. The post holder will be involved in training of other staff in line with our Food, Fluid and Nutrition strategy.

The department provides Acute and Community Dietetic services, including a range of specialist and health improvement posts. You will be joining join a well-respected team of dietitians with good secretarial support, and a commitment to staff development and clinical excellence.

The Scottish Borders is within commuting distance from either by road or the new Borders railway.
