To support the Community Nursing Team Leader who has overall line management responsibility for the treatment room.

The post holder will ensure a person centered approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

The postholder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of episodes of care in accordance with NHS Lanarkshire’s policies/procedures and NMC guidelines.

The postholder will carry out all forms of relevant care without supervision and demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered/unregistered nursing staff. Directing, co-ordinating and supervising the work of other staff within the area of practice, involved with patient care.

Responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are available for planned procedures including Keep Well.

Delegated responsibility for the day to day operational management of department, including supervision and deployment of staff across all sites ensuring equity of service provision.

Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.

Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level.

Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
