An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager within the Directorate of Public Health, NHS Tayside, who will have the lead responsibility for leading and developing the Workplace Programme within NHS Tayside and within workplaces throughout Tayside. The post holder will require to lead and co-ordinate initiatives targeted to disadvantaged workplace communities in order to address current health inequalities and will require working with NHS Tayside colleagues, partner agencies and the voluntary sector. The post holder will further require to lead the Workplace team in supporting workplaces to provide fair employment where good health is protected and promoted as Scotland moves forward from COVID-19.

The successful candidate will bring project management expertise, influencing and negotiating skills and will have highly specialist knowledge of workplace health and wellbeing and have evidence of managing a team. The role also requires highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

You will have a Post Graduate qualification in public health/health improvement at Masters Level.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
